All of Moonflower Enterprises products displayed on this site are carefully selecting by ourselves and our part-time staff in Guatemala, in close collaboration with our Mayan artisans. Many products are the creations of the numerous artisans with whom we work but some products, like our guitar straps, are specially designed to meet the needs of our customers.
The majority of our products are made from 100% natural materials. These include cotton, wool, wood, seeds, cane, gourds, reeds, bambu and others. Some items, due to their intrinsic nature, are crafted using a combination of synthetic and cotton threads. These products are usually found within our clothing/apparel line of products which includes winter garments, and are designed to provide maximum warmth and comfort.
Most of our products are 100% hand-woven or hand-crafted; consequently, they may contain inconsistencies in the weaving or dye which are totally natural. These qualities are what make each product a unique textile art. Furthermore, the majority of our products are one-of-a-kind artist creations, and oftentimes include individual marks or qualities, thus increasing its inherent value and uniqueness.
For maximum care and cleaning of your product, we recommend HAND WASHING in COLD water. If this is not possible, please Machine Wash using the DELICATE cycle. Then HANG DRY the product in the shade.
